SANGGUNIANG BAYAN DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Serves as head of the Policy and Legislative Process Section;
- Assists the functions of the SB Members in the formulation of ordinances and resolutions in coordination with the Legislative Staff;
- Assists the functions of Clerk III;
- Coordinates with the Legislative Tracking Team thru the respective Legislative Staff in introducing proposed amendments or revisions of codes/ordinances;
- Cause for the inclusion in the Order/Calendar of Business duly signed proposed ordinances/resolutions;
- Follow-up referrals of items under 1st Reading, Public Hearings, Committee Reports;
- Prepare items for Second Reading, Third Reading, or those supporting documents;
- Prepares certificates of public hearing 1st Reading and other supporting documents
- Assists in the preparation of documents for the District Consultations, committee meetings and public hearings;
- Coordinates with the Legislative Tracking Team affecting the codes and ordinances under the committee chairmanships of the concerned district kagawad;
- Prepares notice of committee meetings, public hearings and district consultation;
- Assists the conduct of committee meetings with corresponding committee reports duly signed by the members;
