The award has the accompanying prize of Php 2,000,000.00 worth of fisheries related projects.
The Malinis and Masaganang Karagatan (MMK) program of the DA-BFAR seeks to award coastal municipalities throughout the country for their efforts in protecting and conserving marine resources and environments.
